Return Policy

All business sellers who accept returns give you approximately 14 days to let them know if you need to return the goods. In the case of an Individual selling a particular item, the Buyer needs to confirm the Seller's Returns Policy. 

 

If you receive an item that is damaged or not as described on the listing you are covered for the purchase price and postage under Baabya when you pay with PayPal. 

You have statutory rights where goods are not as described or fit for purpose.

 

If a product you’ve purchased on Baabya Marketplace turns out to be faulty after delivery or not as advertised (i.e. non-conformant), the Seller has to give you a free of charge (including return costs) repair, replacement or refund for a “reasonable time” following the sale. That time will vary depending on the product and its value. However, if you make such a claim more than 6 months from delivery, you may need to prove that the fault existed at the time of delivery of the product and wasn’t caused by, for example, an accident, misuse, liquid damage, etc.

 

In addition, many Marketplace Sellers or manufacturers of the products sold offer their own commercial warranty that may also promise to repair the product purchased for a period of time. These may be free or for optional purchase.

 

Note: The commercial guarantee may never replace the legal warranty described above, which you always have from the Seller.

 

Please note that, with respect to returns initiated during the first 14 days from the day of delivery, Sellers are not required to refund the cost of gift-wrapping, returning the item to the Seller, and other services provided to you in connection with your purchase unless you return the item to the Seller because of an error on the Seller's part or because it's defective.

2. Confirm how to return items back to seller.

3. Check your legal warranty.

4. Manage your return and refund.

5. Check any delivery and handling charges by the seller.

6. Use a trackable delivery.

 

Baabya strives to maintain a marketplace that is fair to both Buyers and Sellers. Sending items via a trackable delivery method protects you in the event a seller does not receive an item. Always check the company policy before placing an order.

The received money can be withdrawn to your UK bank account or used to pay for future purchases. 
If your payment came from your card, it will be refunded to that card. Depending on your card issuer, it may take up to 30 days to complete a refund.

If your payment came from either your bank or your PayPal balance, it will be refunded to your PayPal balance. PayPal payments cannot complete until the recipient's email address is confirmed on their PayPal account.  If your refund status is Refunded or Partially Refunded, it means that the refund is complete. The money should be back in your PayPal balance or on your card. 
 
Note that all payments will be refunded to the same card and person who made the original transaction.
